To love one's child is an innate tendency of a parent.
Ali loved his daughter , Miriam too. When she got married and went with his husband to his regiment to the Punjab Ali got no news of her wellbeing. Ever since he went to the post office daily waiting for Miriam's letter having faith and compassionate hope that she would write. He sat their patiently despite the jokes and rebukes from the post office employees.
