✔Ans = As the volume of the substance increases, its density decreases.Gases have higher intermolecular space compared to solids and liquids. As the molecules in a gas are spread apart, they have comparatively lessernumber of molecules in a given volume , as compared to solids and liquids.

Heya❤

❄In case of solids, the force of attraction is very strong causing the atoms of solids being closely attached. This property gives solid a higher density.

❄In case of liquids the force of attraction is less than that of solids causing little spaced between the atoms of liquid. This property gives liquid a lower density compared to solids.

Hope it works ☺
