Lower half of the reflecting surface of a concave
mirror is covered. PQ
is an object placed in front of it beyond its centre
of curvature. What type of image will be formed ?
(1) Image will not be formed
(2) Image size will be reduced to half of length.
(3) Full size image will be formed
(4) Point size image will be formed.​

Answer:  Blocking lower half will make the mirror look like a semi circle. It won’t affect the nature of image. The image will be less brighter than that formed by a full mirror. It is because image will be formed by the rays reflected from the upper half only. The semicircular shape will not manifest anywhere in the image.

This means that if you break the mirror into many pieces, every piece will form the same kind of image irrespective of the shape. Just that the brightness of each image will be different and dependent on the surface area of the broken mirror. Plz mark as brainliest! Thx

Answer:It depends how far beyond you place object from centre of curvature and nothing change by covering mirror half I think
