Answer: The cost of the land is 15,05,00,00,000

               Its area is 15,05,000 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the area :

area = Length * Breadth

       = 500 m * 3010 m = 15,05,000 m²

Cost of the land  = Area * Cost per square meter

                             = 15,05,000 * 10,000 = 15,05,00,00,000

Question :-

The length and the breadth of a rectangular piece of land are 500 m and 300 m respectively.

To find :-

  • its area

  • the cost of the land, if 1{m}^{2} of the land costs ₹ 10,000

Solution :-

  • Length = 500m
  • Breadth = 300m
  • Area = ?

Area = Length (l) × breadth (b)

= l × b

= 500 × 300

= 150000 {m}^{2}

___________

Cost of 1 {m}^{2} of land = ₹ 10,000

cost of 150000 {m}^{2} = ₹ 10,000 × 150000

= 15,00,000,000
