Plastic a boon for us -:

The word 'plastic' is derived from a Greek word 'plastikos' meaning capable of being shaped or moulded. It is made up of Petroleum. Most of the things we use in our daily life are made up of plastic. Toothbrushes, kitchen appliances, etc., are all made up of plastic. It will not be wrong to say that we live in plastic age.

Plastics are used in a wide range of products from paper clips to spaceships due to their light weight, relatively low cost and resistance to water and microorganisms. Plastics can be given any colour and shape and they can be used to making anything. Plastics are very durable. All these things has made plastic - a boon for us.

Plastic can be curse for us-:

1. We often plastic carry bags for shopping. After use, we generally throw them away. This plastic bags get into dreams and block them. As a result, the dirty water spills on the road and becomes breeding ground for the mosquitoes.
2. We often throw household garbage, basically the Kitchen waste for leftover food in the plastic bags. The stray animals often eat these carry bags along with the food. the backs can block their digestive canal and may even take their lives.
3. Many people burn plastic wastes during winters. Burning of plastic release toxic and poisonous gases that may cause respiratory problems, eye problems and cancer.

In this way,plastic can be a curse for us
