Solution :-

→ Flour : Syrup = 7 : 13

so,

  • Flour in sweet = (7/20)
  • Syrup in sweet = (13/20)

therefore, (13/20) fraction of the sweet is syrup.

also,

→ % of sweet is syrup = (13 * 100) / 20 = 65%

Hence, 65% of the sweet is syrup.

also,

→ In syrup , sugar : water = 2 : 3

so,

  • sugar = (2/5) = fraction of the syrup is sugar .
  • water = (3/5)

then,

→ The % of sugar in the sweet = (2/5) of syrup = (2/5) of 65% = (2/5) * 65 = 26%

Hence, the percentage of sugar in the sweet is 26% .
