A = 6x

B = 3x

it is given that they are on the same side of the transversal. So,

  • A + B = 180⁰
  • 6x + 3x = 180⁰
  • 9x = 180⁰
  • x = 180⁰/9
  • x = 20⁰

therefore, A = 6*20⁰

= 120⁰

B = 3*20⁰

= 60⁰
