\huge{ \boxed{ \rm{ \red{corrosion}}}}

Corrosion is a natural process that converts a refined metal into a more chemically stable form such as oxide, hydroxide, or sulfide.

It is the gradual destruction of materials (usually a metal) by chemical and/or electrochemical reaction with their environment.

\huge{ \boxed{ \rm{ \green{Rancidity}}}}

Rancidification is the process of complete or incomplete oxidation or hydrolysis of fats and oils when exposed to air, light, or moisture or by bacterial action, resulting in unpleasant taste and odor.

Corrosion-

In the presence of moisture,when oxygen attack an metal.this process is called corrosion.

eg:- 2Fe+3o2+xH2oFe2o3.xH2o

Rancidity-

when oils and fats are left open they get oxidized in the presence of air,their smell and taste change. This is called rancidity.
