x +y = 9 ----------------------1

10x + y + 9 = 10y + x

9x - 9y = -9

9(x - y) = -9

x - y = -9/9

x - y = - 1 ----------2

solve both equations

x = 4

y = 5

the number is 45

x + y = 9------------------------------1

10x + y + 27 = 10y + x

9x - 9y = -27

9(x - y) = - 27

x - y = -3--------------2

solve both equations

x=3

y=6

the number is 36
