Question:

 lim_{xtends \: to \:  \infty }( \frac{1 - x}{x} ) \: is \: equals \: to \:

Answer:

(NOTE : The value of limit should not become Intermediate at this case )

Here ,

 \infty  =  \frac{1}{0}

Substitute the value of infinite directly in x

 =  \frac{1 - ( \frac{1}{0}) }{ \frac{1}{0} }

 =   \frac{ \frac{0 - 1}{0} }{ \frac{1}{0} }

Cancel 0 which was The common Denominator

 =  \frac{ - 1}{1}

 =  - 1
