As, the cis side of golgi apparatus sends protein with a specific particle of mannose which further gets modified to mannose-6-phosphate and then from trans side m6p +protein enters into early endosome. At the same time proton pump activates (addition of H+ ions) and protein + m6p disintigrates and proteins goes for further modification. And m6p recycled back to golgi apparatus
