Lysosome contain hydrolytic enzymes and also called suicidal bag. What will happen if Lysosome

burst ?

a) Lysosome contain hydrolytic enzymes which work only in acidic conditions , if lysosome will

burst all enzymes will come in cytoplasm and will deactivate as they will not get acidic pH for

their working, hence nothing will happened.

b) Its enzymes will digest all the cell organelles and hence they will kill the cell.

c) Its enzymes can kill the surrounding cells also.

Answer:

Lysosomes are the single membrane-bounded organelle found in eukaryotic cells. It contains hydrolytic enzymes for the digestion of the cell debris, wastes, foreign particles, dead or nonfunctional organelles. Lysosomes are called as suicide bags because of its hydrolytic activities. It digests their own cell when the plasma membrane gets rupture and the pH of the cell get change

Explanation:

Lysosomes are membrane bound cellular organelles. They possess many hydrolytic enzymes for the digestion of cellular waste, debris, as engulfed, killed viruses or bacteria. When a cell is in a metabolic crisis then lysosomes digest its own cell or cellular components by releasing enzymes.
