Lysosomes act as suicidal bags of the cell and remove damaged organelles from the cell . In the same way how can you act like lysosomes in your society ? Mention any other organelle which is restricted to the animal cell and write its function.

Other organelle which is restricted to the animal cell and write its function.

Animal cells each have a centrosome and lysosomes, whereas plant cells do not. Plant cells have a cell wall, chloroplasts and other specialized plastids, and a large central vacuole, whereas animal cells do not.

A centrosome is a cellular structure involved in the process of cell division. Before cell division, the centrosome duplicates and then, as division begins, the two centrosomes move to opposite ends of the cell.

We can act as lysosomes in our society in the following ways:-

  • We should be particular about the maintenance of rules and regulations of the society.
  • Anyone who violates these rules, should be reported and action should be taken.

Another example of organelle which is restricted to the animal cell is centrosome.

  • Centrosome and centrioles are found only in animals and help in the division of cells.
  • They also play a role in the structure of cilia and flagella thus helping in locomotion.
