Hey, Lysosomes are known as Suicide bags of cell
-These are formed by the process of joint activity of endoplasmic reticulum and golgi body
-Lysosomes are membrane bound organelles which float in cytoplasm
-They contain enzymes like,Hydrolases(lipases,proteases,carbohydrases) which are active at acidic pH>7.Acidic conditions are maintained inside by pumping H+ ions into lysosomes.
-they become fragile in the absence of Oxygen or presence of excess of vitamins A & E
-Only a this membrane separating the destructive enzymes from the rest of the cell.If membrane happens to get broken, the various cellular constituents would undergo lysis
-They release their enzymes to the outside through exocytosis to perform extracellular digestion.
