Given -

m²(m + 2n)(m - 4n)

First we solve \textbf{(m + 2n)(m - 4n)}

Using identity -

(x + a)(x + b) = x² + (a + b)x + ab

Here, x = m, a = 2n and b = - 4n

•°•

(m + 2n)(m - 4n) =

= m² + [(2n) + (- 4n)] (m) + (2n)(- 4n)

= m² + (- 2n)(m) + (- 8n²)

= m² - 2mn - 8n²

Now, Back to the question

So, we can write

m²(m² - 2mn - 8n²)
<b>
= m⁴ - 2m³n - 8m²n²
