Solution :

Number of school A students = 140

Number of school B students = 70

Number of school C students = 105

Number of school D students = 35

Total students in the camp (T)

= 140+70+105+35

= 350

Participation of A = ( 140 )/350 × 100%

= ( 2/5 ) × 100%

= 2 × 20 %

= 40%

Participation of B = ( 70/350) × 100%

= ( 1/5 ) × 100%

= 20%

participation of C = ( 105/350 ) × 100%

= ( 15/50 ) × 100%

= 15 × 2%

= 30%

participation of D = ( 35/350 )×100%

= ( 1/10 ) × 100%

= 10%

Answer:

Sol : Total number of students in a camp = 140 + 70 + 105 + 35 = 350. Total number of students in school A = 140 percentage of school A = [140 / 350 ] x 100 = 40% Total number of students in school B = 70 percentage of school B = [70 / 350 ] x 100 = 20%. Total number of students in school C = 105 percentage of school C = [105 / 350 ] x 100 = 30% Total number of students in school D = 35 percentage of school D = [35 / 350 ] x 100 = 10%.
