Answer:

M. Hamel becomes an honest role model for the students on the day of the last lesson. ... It is indeed the teachers who evoke in their students the will to learn, to analyse, to think and to explore the unknown. It is their teachings that fetch them knowledge, both subjective and worldly.

A teacher plays a constructive role in the life of students, especially in the present.

  • Now that education has become more interactive than ever before, a teacher is able to interact with the students and get information about their emotional well being.
  • Once students' concerns, fears, weaknesses and strengths become known to the teacher, the children can gradually be moulded.
  • For example,  if a student lacks confidence, the teacher can first give the child some team task where the child can contribute effectively. Next, teacher can assign an individual task. Each well done task will be appreciated and gradually,  this appreciation will build the child's confidence.
  • The same goes for identifying students' strengths and giving them opportunities to build on those strengths.
  • Teachers can also guide the students in a subtle manner,  by displaying good moral values themselves. A teacher who is not partial towards anyone teaches the students values like fairness, honesty and sincerity.
  • Similarly,  teachers can also be role models when it comes to showing empathy, being helpful and mindful.
  • Teachers with good moral bearings and concern for their students often become role models, and are remembered by students even years after they have passed out of school.
