If the perimeter of a rectangle is 130 cm and its breadth is 30 cm, then calculate the
area of a rectangle.​

Answer:

perimeter=2(l+b)

130=2(l+30)

130=2l+60

130-60=2l

70=2l

70/2=l

35=l

area of rectangle=lxb

=35x30=1050cm²

P=2(x+30)

130=2x+60

130-60=2x

70=2x

x=35

A=L×B

A=30×35

A=1050
