Hi ,

m - ( m - 1 )/2 = 1 - ( m - 2 )/3

m - ( m - 1 )/2 + ( m - 2 )/3 = 1

[ 6m - 3(m - 1 )+ 2( m - 2 )]/6 = 1

=> 6m - 3m + 3 + 2m - 4 = 6

=> 5m - 1 = 6

=> 5m = 6 + 1

=> 5m = 7

m = 7/5

I hope this helps you.

 Given : m - \frac{m - 1}{2} = 1 - \frac{m - 2}{3}

 = > \frac{2m - m + 1}{2} = \frac{3 - m + 2}{3}

 = > \frac{m + 1}{2} = \frac{5 - m}{3}

On cross-multiplication, we get

= > 3(m + 1) = 2(5 - m)

= > 3m + 3 = 10 - 2m

= > 3m + 2m = 10 - 3

= > 5m = 7

= > m = 7/5.

Hope this helps!
