x -  \frac{x - 1}{2}  = 1 -  \frac{x - 2}{3}

now taking LCM on both the sides

2x-1(x-1)/2=3-1(x-2)/3
2x-x+1/2=3-x+2/3
x+1/2=5-x/3


now cross multiply the denominator

3(x+1)=2(5-x)
3x+3=10-2x

taking variables and constant on either sides

3x+2x=10-3
5x=7
x=7/5
