Step-by-step explanation:

m - (m -  \frac{1}{2} ) = 5 - (m -  \frac{3}{4} ) \\  =  > m - m +  \frac{1}{2} = 5 - m  +  \frac{3}{4}   \\  =  > m - m + m = 5 +  \frac{3}{4}  -  \frac{1}{2} \\  =  > 2m - m =  \frac{20 + 3 - 2}{4}  \\  =  > m =  \frac{21}{4}

Answer:

m - (m -  \frac{1}{2} ) = 5 - (m -  \frac{3}{4} )

m - ( \frac{2m - 1}{2} ) = 5 - ( \frac{4m - 3}{4} )

m = 5 - ( \frac{4m - 3}{4} ) + ( \frac{2m - 1}{2} )

m =5 -  ( \frac{4m - 3 + 4m - 2}{4} )

m = 5 - ( \frac{8m - 5}{4} )

m =  \frac{20 - 8m - 5}{4}

4m+8m=15

12m=15

m =  \frac{15}{12}  = \frac{5}{4}

here is your answer

hope it helps you..!!
