Step-by-step explanation:

m²-n²= (m+n)(m-n)

(m+n)²=7²

m²+n²+2mn=49

m²+n²=49-24

m²+n²=25

Answer:

Given,

m + n = 7

or, m = 7 - n ___(i)

Also, mn = 12

or, (7 - n)n = 12 {from (i)}

or, 7n - n² = 12

or, n² - 7n + 12 = 0

or, n² - 4n - 3n + 12 = 0

or, n (n-4) -3 (n-4) = 0

or, (n-3) (n-4) = 0

So, if n = 3, m = 4

and if n = 4, m = 3

 {m}^{2} - {n}^{2} \\ = {(m + n)}(m - n) \\ = + 7 \: or \: - 7

Hope It Helps:)))))))
