your solution here

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the 3 terms in G.P. be ra, a, ar

Product of 3 terms = 125

ra×a×ar=125

a3=125

a=3125

∴a=5

Sum of 3 terms = 31

ra+a+ar=31

r5+5+5r=31,r5+5r2=26

5+5r2=26r

5r2−26r+5=0

(r−5)(5r−1)=0

5r−1=0 or r−5=0

r=51 or r=5

if a = 5 and r =51, the terms are, ra=515=5×
