m^2-2m-15=0

15=5*3

m^2-5m+3m-15=0

m(m-5)+3(m-5)=0

(m-5)(m+3)=0

therefore m=5,-3

m² - 2m - 15 = 0

By factorisation method,

m² + 3m - 5m - 15 = 0

m(m + 3) - 5(m + 3) = 0

(m - 5) ( m+3) = 0

m = 5 ; m = -3

Therefore the value of m is 5 and -3
