Given: mlln and ‹1:‹2= 3:2

Solⁿ: let ‹1 be 3x and ‹2 be 2x

‹1+‹2 = 180° [linear pair]

=> 3x + 2x = 180°

=> 5x = 180°

=> x = 180°/5 = 36°

.°. ‹1 = 3×36° = 108°

& ‹2 = 2×36° = 72°

‹3 = ‹2= 72° [vertically opp. angles]

‹4 = ‹1 = 108° [ " ]

Now, m ll n

.°. ‹5 = ‹1 = 108° [corresponding angles]

‹6 = ‹2 = 72° [ " ]

‹7 = ‹6 = 72° [vertically opp. angles]

‹8 = ‹5 = 108° [ " ]
