m1 and m2 are the masses of two bodies when force pf 5N is applied on each body ,m1 gets an acceleration of 10m/square and m2 20m/square .If two bodies are tried together and the same force is applied .find the acceleration of the combined system​

Explanation:

F = 5N

a  1   = = 10m/s^{2}

 F=m 1   a  1

​ m  1  =  \frac{F}{a1}

F = m1a1

m1 = \frac{F}{a1}

= \frac{5}{10} = 0.5kg

F = 5N

a2 = 20m/s^{2}

F = m2a2 ​  

= \frac{5}{20} = 0.25kg

m1 + m2 = 0.5 + 0.25

= 0.75 kg

F=5N

F = ma

​a = \frac{F}{m}

= \frac{5}{0.75}  

= 6.66m/s^{2}
