There are so many options available for you, they are :
1. Get a Masters degree (M. Tech, M.S) :
I think that currently you hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil engineering, but this doesn't provide you enough Theoretical or Practical knowledge to make you shine in this sector, and it will loose it's importance after some year, so getting a Master's 'will help you out in this field.
You can get into the Public sector companies like
NTPC - National Thermal Power Corporation Limited
BHEL - Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited
ONGC - Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited
HAL - Hindustan Aeronautics Limited
GAIL - Gas Authority of India Limited
SAIL - Steel Authority of India Limited
IOCL - Indian Oil Corporation
BSNL - Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited
ISRO - Indian Space Research Organisation
By scoring good in GATE.
2. Prepare for Govt. Sector jobs:
Engineering Services Examination (ESE) - this exams conducted by UPSC for the recruitment into the departments of the Central government such as
Central Engineering Service (Central Public Works Depart), Indian Railway Service of Engineers, Indian Defence Service of Engineers (Military Engineer Services), Central Engineering Service Group 'A' (Roads) Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Central Water Engineering Service (Central Water Commission), Border Roads Organisation(Border Road Engineering Services), Survey of India.
PSU Exams- the PSC exams for the recruitment into departments of the state government such as the Public work department(PWD) etc.
The Railway recruitment Board (RRB) is another recruiter of graduates in Civil Engineers.
3. Go for MBA:
If you want to make a career in the management sector, as managerial positions, then MBA is the right choice. You may specialize in HR, Marketing, Financial etc.
If you want to get admission in top MBA colleges like IIMs and and many other leading institutes, you have to prepare for CAT (Common Admission Test) Exam.
4. If you love to teach, go for lectureship
5. Abroad Jobs:
If you dont want to go for further study and don't want to go for government sector, you should try to get a job abroad(Preferably in Middle East). You will learn lots of things and earn a lot which you will not find in India. But you will have to work in adverse climatic conditions, be ready for that.
6. Get placed in any Private sector company in India:
This is the easiest way to get a job, but it is really difficult to maintain it afterwards. You have to work for min 12 hours a day in any Indian Private sector Construction Company (Contractor company). I personally DO NOT RECOMMEND it as a primary career choice of any Fresher GRADUATE ENGINEER , as there are so many other and better options waiting for them.
U can choose one of it....
