However If mechanical advantage had been equal to the velocity ratio of the machine, the efficiency would have been 100%, which is impossible in reality.
But in an Ideal machine, Mechanical Advantage and Velocity ratio would always be equal to each other. Because of friction, air resistance, this Ideal situation would never be achieved.
Thus ratio between mechanical advantage and velocity ratio is always less than 1, which again implies that M.A. should always be less than V.R .
