▪️ Let the number of students be x.

$\pink{↬}$60% of x is girls.

Therefore,

$\purple{↬}$60% of x = 18

$\blue{↬}$x = 18×100/60 = 30

So,

$\red{↬}$Total number of students = 30

$\orange{↬}$Number of boys = 30 - 18 = 12.
