Given:-

  • Force exerted by Machine (A), F = 10N

  • Displacement ,s = 5

  • Force exerted by Machine (B) ,F' = 0.5N

  • Displacement ,s' = 100m

To Find:-

  • Which machine work more .

Solution:-

As we know that Work Done is defined as the product of Force and displacement.

• W = Fs

For Machine 'A'

Work done by machine 'A'

→ W = Fs

Substitute the value we get

→ W = 10×5

→ W = 50 J --------------(i)

Therefore, the work done by the machine A is 50 Joules.

Work done by Machine 'B'

→ W' = F's'

Substitute the value we get

→ W' = 0.5 × 100

→ W' = 50 J ---------------(ii)

Therefore, the work done by the machine 'B' is 50 Joules.

From the equation (i) & (ii) we observe that

The machine A & Machine B work same .
