Machine have made life more comfortable but has made us dependent

Good morning everyone present. I feel immensely privileged to have got the opportunity to express my views on ‘Machine have made life more comfortable but has made us dependent?'

Robin S. Sharma , the famous author and motivational speaker says, “Cell phones, mobile e-mail, and all the other cool and slick gadgets can cause massive losses in our creative output and overall productivity.” Modern life-style and man's increasing dependence on machines have literally affected his mental and physical faculties and capabilities adversely. Not only intelligence, the effect of machines and gadgets is visible on all aspects of his life. Machines, gadgets, vehicles, smart-phones, tabs, laptops, ac, blower, geyser, and whatnot, man cannot live for a second without machines.

As a consequence, he has become physically, mentally, socially, spiritually, emotionally weak!

The present signs of his decadence do not augur well! If he fails to check his dependence on machines and gadgets, he may become utterly incapable of surviving any longer on this planet. The ever increasing indexes of patients in the hospitals of the world are a red-signal for man. He must learn to use machines wisely and appropriately. After all excess of everything is always bad! He must use these gadgets as he uses other things for example, stove, shoes, water-tap, house, car, pen, bed, etc. He uses them only when they are required. However, his overuse of some of the gadgets such as smart phone, computer, TV, etc. are killing his time. They don’t let him use his other faculties. He must wean himself off these gadgets before it is too late!

He must use machines wisely. He must not be over dependent on them. Though they have become an integral part of man’s existence, yet he must use his faculties optimally. He must give due exercise to his body, mind and soul. Otherwise the dependence on gadgets will render him weak physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Answer: Modern Man Has Become Slave To Machines And Gadgets

Explanation:

There was a time when man used to be self-dependent for all activities of his daily living. A pair of arms and legs used to be his closest friends and assistants to perform his errands. But as the time passed by, man used his wit and power and invented various easygoing gadgets to perform his work without putting any pressure on his shoulders. Invention of machines and gadgets has made his life so easy that at a very slow pace he started becoming dependent of machines for everything. In the past, man used to perform lots of activities by himself, but gradually tables turned and machines ruled his heart, brain, as well as body, and then his whole world.

Man's so much dependence on machines has made them listless and obese. As most of the work is done by machines, there is less physical activity, that results in obesity, sickness, and loss of immune power. Today's man cannot be considered as stronger as the man of the past. Even the kids can be seen flabby and having less stamina just because of the machines they use for all the work that could be done manually.
