Answer:

4 years

Step-by-step explanation:

P = 10000

R% = 10%

T = ?

A = 6561

A = P(1-\frac{R}{100})^{n}           Where n = t

Now,

6561 = 10000(1-\frac{10}{100})^{n}

\frac{6561}{10000} = \frac{9}{10})^{n}

= (\frac{9}{10} )^{4} = (\frac{9}{10})^{n}

Which gives n = 4

t =4

Ans =  4 years

drhaleema1995: hey the answer is 5 year because the formula that i have contain n-1 instead of n
rcagindiap9s19c: try again
rcagindiap9s19c: and see the answer in the book
drhaleema1995: i don't have book right now iam solving the question from past papers
rcagindiap9s19c: answer will be 4
drhaleema1995: actually your answer is correct but in formula you have missed -1 its n-1 basically
drhaleema1995: ok will check it again thanks alot ☺
rcagindiap9s19c: Welcome
rcagindiap9s19c: The book which I have read the formula was A = P(1+R/100)^n
