Let his total money = x

So, 40% of x is given to his brother.

So, 40% of x is given to his brother.Also, his brother got Rs. 2,00,000

So, 40% of x = 2,00,000

→ 40x/100 = 2,00,000

→ 40x = 2,00,00,000

→ x = 2,00,00,000/40

x = 5,00,000

Hence, Mandanlal distributed Rs. 5,00,000.

Remaining money = Rs. 5,00,000 - Rs. 2,00,000 = Rs. 3,00,000

Now,

Remaining money was equally distributed among his three children, So

Let the amount that one child got be y

Therefore,

→ y + y + y = 3,00,000

→ 3y = 3,00,000

→ y = 3,00,000/3

→ y = 1,00,000

Hence, Each of his Children get Rs. 1,00,000
