length of table cloth = 2.25 m

breadth of table cloth = 1.75 m

we know that,

the length of the lace = perimeter of the table cloth

= 2.25×2 + 1.75×2 m

= 4.5 + 3.5 m

= 8 m

now,

cost of the lace if it cost rupees 14.50 per metre = length of lace × 14.50 rs

= 116 rupees
