"A Door" is a short story written by P. Lankesh in Kannada language. The story is about an old woman, whom the narrator met at his farm. After an enquiry the narrator got to know that Chinamma is an old woman, and she works hard on the farm to get a new door in her hut. She has to work for her survival on her own as she is a widow and does not have any children. So, the narrator with the help of others got a new door for Chinamma's hut.
