4. 1. If the father of Indian magic, P.C. Sorcar senior, made the family art of magic popular beyond the boundaries of India, his son P.C. Sorcar Junior has made magic into a spectacular entertainment show. He has added modern techniques, three dimensional choreography, a mixture of traditional and modern music, classical dance, technical and mechanical instruments to his art.
2.Magic as performed by P.C. Sorcar Junior is closely linked to the hearts of people. He uses his skill to uplift emotions, bringing hope, cheer and happiness to his audience. He believes that the aim of magic is mainly to entertain people, and that entertainment is linked to happiness. His own happiness comes from the ‘bridge of oneness’ he builds with the spectators.

4.In the real world, Sorcar Junior shows a deep concern for the poorer sections of society. He performs free shows for physically and mentally disabled people. In every season, he performs exclusively for orphans and for the bedridden in hospitals.
