Magnesium + hydrochloric acid =>Magnesium Chloride + Hydrogen why not mg2 at LHS???????

because metal react with HCL then it forms

Mg2 will not be present at the LHS side because magnesium will combine with chlorine present in hydrochloric acid and hydrogen will be in its gaseous state after the reaction.
