The current induced in the circuit is zero.

  • Here ,the magnetic field Bo exists perpendicular towards inward. And the resistance of the loop is given i.e R , resistance is a measure of the opposition to the current flow in the electrical circuit.

  • So, when the switch is made closed and current will start inducing in the circuit but in this case the current induced in the circuit is zero .

  • As, the change in the magnetic flux ( total magnetic field passes through a given area) which is associated with this loop is zero because the magnetic field Bo is uniform everywhere and magnetic flux is nothing but measurement of the total magnetic field in that particular area.

  • So, there is no change in magnetic flux , and induced EMF ( electr motive force) also be zero . As. no EMF therefore no current will be induced.
