magnetic poles can not be separated why

Answer:

So you cannot divide a magnet into two isolated poles because every moving charge is going to generate a magnetic field around it due to the changes in the spreading electric field in the space that indicate its movement. Also there are no mono-poles or magnetic charges needed to produce a magnetic force/field.

Answer:

The poles of a magnet can be separated, it’s just that when you cut the north and south poles apart from each other, both of the broken magnet pieces will sprout opposite poles at each of the broken ends.

As for why it can’t be split, that’s just simply a property of magnetic fields. Magnetic fields flow from the north pole to the south pole. If there was no south pole, there wouldn’t be anywhere for the magnetic fields to go.
