Take a Bar magnet and an iron rod. Move the bar magnet along the length of the Iron rod many times. For sometimes it acquire some magnetic field

Keep the bar magnet on a flat surface.
Rub the iron rod on the length many times.
If you do this, you will get another magnet in the iron rod because the polarity will get straightened.
