For convex lens and convex mirror , magnification is positive.

dhjklldQ: please explain
vilasnagekar121: He is wrong
vilasnagekar121: Since the magnification produced is positive , it means that both the image and the object are on the same side and hence the mirror in concave mirror and since magnification is greater than 1 hence the object is kept between center of curvature and focus.
KarthikM: There is nothing to explain. According to your question , you have asked for which lens magnification is positive . So answer is simply remembering that for both convex lens and mirror it is positive and that for concave lens and mirror it is negative.
