Magnitude of force
Pressure is directly proportional to the force acting on the surface of contact. Hence , the greater the magnitude of force, the greater is the pressure acting on the surface. It also implies that when the area of contact is same then , the pressure increases with increases in the applied thrust .

The magnitude of a force acting on a body is equal to product of the mass of the body and acceleration of the force in the line of action.
Its SI unit is in Newton(N).
