maharajah duleep singh aka black prince was the last ruler of the sikh empire . he became king in 1843 at the age of five in which time his mother was ruling on his behalf and after they lost the Sikh Anglo war he was kidnapped by the British crown and therefore exiled to britian at the age of 15 where he was befriended by queen Victoria. he died young
