He was honoured as a hero in Rajasthan. Mahrana Pratap was born in 1545 in Mewar and was the son of Rana Udai Singh and he died in 1597.

He resisted Emperor Akbar to conquer his territory and fought bravely with the large troops of Mughals with his small army. The most famous battles are Battle of Haldighati ( Fought between Raja Man Singh and Rana Pratap in which Ranaji lost ) And the Battle of Dewair in which he won.

Rana Pratap fought heroically in the Battle of Haldighati. He cut Bahlol Khan with his horse in two parts.
