Maharashtra is situated in the country India. It is in south east part of India. By area it is the third largest state of the country and by population it ranks in the second position. The two major rivers passing through this state is Narmada and Tapi, it is a wonderful place to roam, one of the most attracting point is Ajnata and Elora and also various forts are associated with life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Maharashtra is the state where I am born and brought up, hence it takes a crucial part in my life.
The Ganesh Chaturthi festival, Maharashtrian Thali, folk dance and songs, dialect, culture, heritage everything makes me proud.
But there are certain aspects of my state which irritate me. Like the tremendous traffic jam, issues related to political parties, unemployment in certain areas and so on.
The Maharashtra of my dream is a state where not a single child will be illiterate, not a single person will sleep in empty stomach, not a single student has to face unemployment later in their career.
