Mahatma gandhi was born at Porbandar 8n Gujarat on 2nd october,1869.His full name was Mohandas karamchand gandhi.When he grew up,he became the leaders of indians.Gandhi ji believes in non-violence.He wore simple clothes.He ate simple food.A great indian poet Rabindranath Tagore,givr him the title of Mahatma gandhi.Mahatma gandhi loved children very much.We also call him"Bapu".Bapu meams father in hindi.Gandhiji was like father to all indians.Mahatma gandhi helped us to get freedom from the British rule.Gandhiji became the international symbol of free in India.He is truly called the "Father of the nation".We celebrate Gandhi's birthday Gandhiji's jayanti. We all love and respect him.
