on 31 Jan 1930 Gandhi ji sent a letter with eleven demand
1)among the demand some of them were basic need and another were specific needs for each class so all could feel untied
2)the most stirring of all demand was the salt tax and monopoly Right over its production
Gandhi saw It as a one of the oppressive face of British government
3)So when lord Irwin rejected his demand gandhji decided to start a non corporation momevent by breaking salt law
4)he with his 78 official started marching from sabarmati to costal town of dandi 240 miles way walking 10 miles a day thousands of people joined them on there journey
