Mahatma Gandhi was born in a Hindu family. He respected all religions. He studied scriptures of different religions. His philosophy of life was mixture of different religions. He lived life with set of rules. But his insight was not so deep about religion. He could not accepted life in all its dimension. For example he was against romance and living prosperous life. He lived with character instead of awareness and spontaneity. So he followed morality instead of spirituality.
He practiced truthfulness and cleanliness with strong determination and courage in his whole life. He always tried to be the change he wanted to see in others.
