Answer:
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi also known as Mahatma Gandhi was born in Porabanderin the state of Gujrat, India October 2, 1869. He studied law at University College, London. Then returned to India to practice law but failed. He moved to South Africa but was treated like an animal. He was appalled by the prejudice and fought for the rights for Indian immigrants in South Africa and thus starting his career fighting for peace.
Mahatma Gandhi inspired me and is my hero because of how he started the first peaceful nonviolent civil war. Also with his quote "be the change you want to see in the world".
He also persevered at the things he did. He not give up, no matter how badly he was treated. His beliefs held fast and still and still tried to get rights for colored people in South Africa.
He willingly gave up his time and life for helping others. During the Boer War Gandhi also organized a Red Cross unit and commanded it.
Not only did he inspire me he inspired many heroes like MLK to fight for their rights without violence. During the whole fight for freedom he never raised a fist. That is why he is is called the soldier of peace. That is why he deserves the title hero.
