Gandhi ji was born on 2nd oct 1869 and his birthday celebrated as Gandhi jayanti in our country. Gandhi was a great leader of our country popularly known as bapu means the father of nation. his father name was Mohan Das Karam Chand Gandhi.he was diwan at rajkot and mother was putlibai was a pious and religious lady. Gandhi ji an average student and started going to school at age of 7 years. he was a punctual and regular student. he was the work shipper of truth and non-violence. Gandhi ji went to England to enroll his name in law college. he went to south Africa regarding a case where he got very sad to see the bad condition of the Indians. he raised his voice against the british rule and started. many freedom movements such as non-coperation, satyagrah quite India to force the britishers to quit India. he also raised his voice against social evils such as untouchability discrimination based on caste,creeds, class and gender. he believed in simple living and high thinking on 30th jan 1948. Gandhi ji was going to attend a prayer at birla bhawan where Nathu Ram Gunned him dow and the country has lost its true leader forever. his samadhi is at rajkot has become a tourist place. really Gandhi ji was a great saint.
